SHABBOS ANNOUNCEMENTS – February 20

GOOD SHABBOS!

Mazel Tov to Helen and Milton Goldstein on the birth of a great-grandson last Shabbos to Sarah Chava and Aryeh Liebler in Jerusalem.

 

Kiddush is sponsored by Darrel Mandel in memory of his father, Louis Mandel. The Kiddush is co-sponsored by Carl and Shirley Cohen in honor of Shirley’s birthday.

 

Rabbi Gettinger’s class on the Observances and Halachos of Shabbos will continues this Sunday at 5:00 pm in the Epstein Library. Everyone is welcome!

 

This Sunday the chavursa-style learning of the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch will meet at the shul at 8:30 pm. The study session is from 8:30 pm until 9:15 pm at which time Rabbi Gettinger gives a 15 minutes class on the material studied.  Please see Steve Frankel for more information.

 

The NCSY carnival will be next Sunday, February 28^th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at B’nai Torah.

Also that day, B’nai Torah will have a Purim Seudah at 5:15 pm. Please call the shul office to make reservations.

 

The Indy Kosher Coop Pesach order is due Feb. 23rd.  Go to the website www.kckoshercoop.com to order or for more information, talk to Kathy Frankel.

The Sisterhood welcomes volunteers this Sunday at 10:30 in the social hall to help assemble the Mishloach Manot.  For more information, talk to Kathy Frankel or Stacy Segal.

 

Shabbos Classes

Rabbi Hasten’s Parsha class will meet at 4:50 pm at the home of Doniel and Florence Reznik.
